How Do You Cancel a Subscription on Roku Without the Device?
Anyone who's had to deal with this before—how do you cancel a Roku subscription if you don’t have the actual Roku device anymore? I moved recently and left my Roku streaming stick at my old place. Now I’m still getting charged for a subscription I signed up for through Roku, and I can’t access the device to cancel it.
I thought maybe I could do it from the app on my phone, but that didn’t give me any real options. Eventually, I found out you can manage subscriptions through my.roku.com, which was a total lifesaver. I just logged in with the Roku account tied to the device, went to Manage Subscriptions, and there it was—all my active subscriptions laid out.
I was able to cancel the one I didn’t want anymore right from the website. Super easy once you know where to go, but not exactly obvious if you’re used to doing everything from the Roku interface.
So if you’re stuck trying to cancel a Roku subscription without access to the device, just head straight to my.roku.com and handle it from there. No need for the remote, the TV, or the physical device at all...
