Need to Cancel Paramount Plus on Roku
I’m stuck and could really use some help. I’ve been trying to cancel Paramount Plus on my Roku, but for the life of me, I can’t find where to do it. I originally subscribed through Roku, not directly through Paramount Plus, so I thought it would be easy to manage it all in one place—but nope.
I went to the Paramount Plus app on my Roku thinking there’d be a cancel button or something in the settings. Nothing there. Then I tried using my Roku remote to press the * key while the app was highlighted, which brought up a menu—but again, no option to cancel the subscription.
Eventually, I realized I had to go to my.roku.com on a browser, log into my Roku account, and then check the “Manage Subscriptions” section. Sure enough, Paramount Plus was listed there with a cancel button next to it. Why Roku doesn’t make this easier to do directly from the TV is beyond me.
Anyway, I clicked “Cancel Subscription”, and it confirmed that it’ll stay active until the end of the billing period. So just a heads-up: if you’re trying to cancel Paramount Plus on Roku, don’t waste time in the app—go straight to your account on the Roku website.
