Answer Question
Why Am I Seeing a “Roku for CBS Interactive” Charge on My Card?
Hey everyone, hoping someone here can help me out. I just checked my bank account and noticed a charge labeled “Roku for CBS Interactive”, and I have no idea what it’s for. It showed up as a monthly subscription, but I don’t remember signing up for anything directly with CBS. I do use Roku for streaming, so I’m wondering if it’s connected somehow.
After doing some digging, I realized it might be related to Paramount Plus, which I think I may have subscribed to through my Roku. But it’s confusing because the charge doesn’t say “Paramount Plus” anywhere—it only says CBS Interactive, and that threw me off.
I went to my.roku.com to check my subscriptions page, and sure enough, I saw Paramount Plus listed under my active channels. I’m guessing that’s what the charge is for. I’ve since clicked on it to cancel, but honestly, Roku should make this clearer.
If anyone else is seeing a similar charge and doesn’t remember signing up, it might be worth checking your Roku account subscriptions. You can also try reaching out to Roku customer service or calling the Roku cancel subscription phone number if you’re stuck.
Anyone else run into this? Did canceling work for you?
