What’s the Right Way to Cancel a Subscription Through my.roku.com?

Help me to cancel a subscription through my.roku.com ...I’ve seen a lot of different instructions online about how to cancel Roku subscriptions, but I just wanted to double-check—what’s the correct way to cancel through my.roku.com? I don’t want to mess it up and keep getting charged. I subscribed to a couple of streaming services through Roku (I think Disney Plus and Paramount Plus), and now I’m trying to clean up and unsubscribe from the ones I don’t use anymore.

When I signed into my.roku.com, I clicked on the “Manage Your Subscriptions” link. That brought up a full list of everything tied to my Roku account, including active and expired subscriptions. Super helpful. From there, I just clicked “Cancel Subscription” next to each service I wanted to stop.

It also showed the next billing date and let me know I’d still have access until the end of the current period, which was nice. Just a heads-up for anyone doing this—removing a channel from your Roku device doesn't cancel the subscription. You have to do it from the site or through your device’s “Manage Subscription” option.

Here’s the correct way to cancel a subscription through my.roku.com:

Step-by-Step Guide:

Go to https://my.roku.com.
Sign in to your Roku account.
Click on Manage your subscriptions.
Find the service and click Cancel Subscription.

Still unsure if it went through? Call Roku customer support at 1 (866) 994 3657 and they’ll confirm everything for you.

Before closing your Roku account, cancel all subscriptions first or you’ll keep getting billed.

Do This First:

Log into my.roku.com.
Cancel all active subscriptions.
THEN proceed to close your account under Account Settings > Deactivate Account.
