To cancel Disney Plus if you signed up via Roku: Still seeing charges or can't access your account? Call Roku at 866.994.3657 to cancel over the phone.
Is it just me, or is canceling Disney Plus on Roku way more complicated than it should be? I’ve been going in circles trying to figure this out. I’m being charged monthly, and I’m pretty sure I signed up for Disney+ directly through Roku, not the Disney website. That’s where the confusion begins.
I started by opening the Disney Plus app on my Roku device, but there was no option to manage or cancel the subscription. Then I tried pressing the * button while the app was selected on my home screen. That gave me a menu, and I thought “Manage Subscription” would do the trick—but it just redirected me to go online.
So I finally logged into my.roku.com, clicked on Manage Subscriptions, and sure enough—there it was. My Disney Plus subscription showed up with a cancel option. I clicked “Cancel Subscription,” and it told me I’d still have access until the end of the billing cycle, which is fine.
The whole thing just felt more complicated than it needed to be. If you’re trying to cancel Disney+ on Roku, skip the app entirely and go straight to the Roku website. Lesson learned.
Has anyone else gone through this headache? Just want to make sure I’m not the only one.
