Need help with Paramount Plus Roku cancel subscription
Hey roku support, I’m super frustrated right now. I’ve been trying to cancel my Paramount Plus subscription on Roku, but every time I think I’ve done it, I still get billed! I originally signed up through Roku, not the Paramount website, so I figured I should be able to manage everything from my Roku account. But it’s not going as smoothly as I expected.
First, I tried canceling directly from my Roku device by pressing the * button on the Paramount Plus app and selecting “Manage Subscription.” It gave me an option to cancel, and I went through with it. It even said it would be canceled at the end of the billing period. But then—boom—next month, another charge!
So I logged into my.roku.com to double-check. Under my subscriptions, Paramount Plus was still showing as active. It’s like my first cancellation didn’t even go through. I had to hit “Cancel Subscription” again from the website, and this time it finally confirmed it properly.
So yeah, if anyone else is having trouble getting their Paramount Plus Roku subscription canceled, make sure to follow up on my.roku.com even if you cancel from the TV. I also set a PIN for purchases now just to avoid accidentally resubscribing with the Roku remote.
Roku really needs to streamline this process—anyone else experience the same glitch?
