Need help with cancel Roku remote subscription, Please help me
Hi everyone, I really hope someone here has dealt with this before. I think I accidentally subscribed to a channel using my Roku remote, and now I’m getting charged monthly for something I never meant to sign up for. I was just browsing around and must’ve clicked something without realizing it. Roku makes it way too easy to subscribe—literally just a couple of button presses and boom, you’re subscribed.
I don’t even remember seeing a confirmation screen. Now I’ve got a charge on my card and an email saying I subscribed to a premium channel, and I’m honestly a little frustrated. I tried looking around on my Roku device, but I couldn’t find where to cancel it directly. I ended up going to my.roku.com, logged into my account, and clicked on the “Manage Subscriptions” section. That’s where I found the channel and finally hit “Cancel Subscription.”
Still, I feel like this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. I saw someone mention turning on a PIN for purchases—I definitely plan to do that now to stop this from happening again. If anyone knows a quicker way to cancel a Roku remote subscription, or if there's a way to request a refund, I’d really appreciate the help.
